Established homes may need a switchboard upgrade for solar or a battery. We check it upfront and include any work clearly in your quote.
Our SAA Accredited Installers work carefully with tiled roofs, replacing any cracked tiles found during installation.
*Victorian prices for single-storey, single-phase homes, standard installation within 50 km of Melbourne metro. Prices include federal STC and Cheaper Home Batteries discounts assigned to Sky Solar (these step down on 1 January 2027). Solar and solar + battery prices are for customers eligible for Solar Victoria programs and also include the Solar Victoria rebate ($1,400) and interest-free loan ($1,400, which is repaid over 4 years). For customers who are not eligible for Solar Victoria programs, $2,800 is added to the advertised price. The 20 kWh battery price is for homes with existing solar. Additional charges apply for three-phase and double-storey installations, Klip-Lok and terracotta roofs, battery installations in a garage, and switchboard upgrades where required. Meter changeover/configuration fees are charged by your electricity retailer or network, usually on your electricity bill, and are not included in our prices.
Federal discounts are applied directly to your quote. For the Solar Homes rebate, as an authorised retailer we submit your details to Solar Victoria, which then emails you to verify your identity and income and complete your application.
*Approximate as at October 2026. Federal discounts step down on 1 January 2027. Solar Homes eligibility includes a household income cap of $150,000.
Not usually. We assess shading during your quote and design the panel layout to minimise its impact. In heavily shaded spots, panel-level optimisation can help.
Lock in 2026 rebates before they step down on 1 January.
