See your discount — and what waiting costs

Since 1 May 2026 the discount is tiered: the first 14 kWh gets the full rate, 14–28 kWh gets 60%, and 28–50 kWh gets 15%. The rate then steps down every six months until 2030.

Estimate assumes a certificate price of $38. Actual value depends on certificate prices on your install date and the battery's usable capacity.

Why a battery, why now

The energy market has changed. Batteries are how you win.

Exports pay very little

Feed-in tariffs now pay only a few cents per kWh. Storing that power and using it at night is worth several times more.

Free midday power

Homes with a smart meter can opt in to three hours of free midday grid power — through Solar Sharer in NSW, South-East Queensland and SA, and Victoria’s Midday Power Saver (since 1 October 2026). Ideal for topping up a battery.

Earn with a VPP

Join a Virtual Power Plant for bill credits or payments. In NSW, the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme adds extra incentives for batteries up to 50 kWh.

Blackout protection Optional upgrade

Add our optional Blackout Backup to keep essentials such as your fridge, lights and internet running during a power outage. Available on compatible systems — ask your specialist for a quote.
